The Killarney Turtle Mountain Arts Council is at it again - bringing top talent to Killarney through music and the Arts!
All are welcome to the Killarney Lakeside Festival, August 22-24.
Art Administrator, Giselle Beaupre, says the festival weekend kicks of Friday evening at 5 pm.
"The entire weekend will be emceed by an amazing artist from Winnipeg—Mama Soul James," shares Beaupre. "She performed for us back in May 2024. She was supposed to be our first outdoor act, but it was so cold we had to move inside. She absolutely rocked the house! Her voice and personality are incredible, and she’ll be tying everything together from Friday through Sunday."
The stage for the performances will be set up by extending the Heritage Home yard into the space on the fairgrounds, right behind the display building, at the Westoba Community Stage.
The Heritage yard will feature games, face painting, hair braiding, and lots of other fun activities. Inside the ag building on Saturday from 1:00 to 5:00 PM, there will be an artisan's market with up to 12 vendors.
"It’s only two weeks away, and we hope people will grab their tickets at the Heritage Home, Lewis & Jones, or online at Eventbrite.ca," adds Beaupre. "It’s going to be a really fun three days. Tickets are only $75 for an adult weekend pass and $45 for youth aged 10 to 17. Kids 9 and under get in free."
"Also, I should mention—the artisan market and food trucks are open to the public at the Ag grounds. You don’t need a festival pass to enjoy those on Saturday!"
