The Cochrane and Area Family Resource Network (FRN) is gearing up to welcome families to its annual Back-to-School Fair on Saturday, August 23.
The event will offer a free, interactive experience aimed at preparing students and families for a successful school year.
In partnership with the SLS Centre, the fair will feature a wide range of community organizations, youth-focused services, and recreational programs dedicated to supporting Pre K through Grade 12 students and their families. Attendees can explore local agencies, connect with youth service providers, and discover resources designed to promote well-being and success.
Families can also enjoy plenty of fun activities, including life-size games, pony cycles, ride-on cars, glitter tattoos, and a back-to-school photo booth.
Kim Krawec, Manager of FCSS for the Town of Cochrane, says the fair is a great opportunity for families to connect with valuable resources while enjoying a day of family-friendly entertainment. “Whether you’re looking for after-school programs, health and wellness support, or just want to explore what’s available in our community, this event brings it all under one roof,” she explains.
