Third time's the charm for a Swift Current lacrosse player at the MacDonald Cup.

Dawning the Prince Albert Predators jersey, Paul Piche produced two key third-period assists Sunday afternoon as they beat the North Shore Indians 10-8 in overtime to capture the Western Canadian Junior B Lacrosse Invitational.

Piche's second assist of the game came with 1:46 left in regulation as Braden Shewchuk tied the game at 8-8 to force overtime.

The Swift Current Wolverine runner finished the four-game tournament with three goals and two assists as the Predators posted a perfect 4-0 record.

Piche has played at the event the past three years, twice with the Wolverines, and has accumulated eight goals and 10 assists in 13 games.
