De Necker & Team Saskatchewan go 1-2 at Canada Games today

It was a busy day for Kyle's AJ De Necker and Saskatchewan Rugby 7s team at the Canada Summer Games in Newfoundland.

They played three of their four preliminary round matches all in one day.

Saskatchewan got off to a strong start with a hard-fought 10-7 win over Manitoba this morning in St. John's. 

De Necker made a significant tackle in the waning moments of the win.

They then lost 29-5 to Alberta and 36-0 to Ontario.

Saskatchewan wraps up the preliminary round against New Brunswick tomorrow.
