On August 9, 2025, at approximately 7:30 a.m., Portage la Prairie RCMP were dispatched to a residence in the Rural Municipality of North Norfolk following a complaint about shots fired.
The property is located near Road 58 West and Road 67 North, north of MacGregor.
A resident at the scene told officers they believed a bullet passed through the front window of the home and that another bullet struck a camper on the property. No one inside the residence was injured during the incident.
RCMP continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the event. Forensic Identification Services have been involved in the examination of the property.
Police say they have not located any bullets at the site.
They are seeking assistance from the public, asking anyone with video surveillance of the area to come forward.

The force adds that tips can be submitted anonymously and that any piece of information could be valuable in advancing the investigation.
