Day 3 of the Canada Summer Games wrapped up yesterday in St. John's, Nfld. Moose Jaw's Kyler Pladson and Saskatchewan's women's box lacrosse team were trailing 3-2 against Manitoba before scoring with 2.7 seconds left to earn a 3-3 tie.

In women's softball, Saskatchewan picked up an 8-3 win over Nova Scotia before falling 3-0 to B.C. Saskatchewan's softball team includes Moose Jaw's Ava Unser and Blake Maltais.

In cycling, Moose Jaw's Marcus Capili finished with a time of 37:37.99 in individual time trial road cycling.

The Saskatoon Berries tied up their WCBL East Division final series against the Regina Red Sox last night with an 8-4 win. The third and deciding game takes place tonight in Saskatoon. Meanwhile, in the West Division, the Sylvan Lake Gulls swept the Okotoks Dawgs in two games straight to head to the WCBL championship.

The Toronto Blue Jays open a three-game series tonight against the visiting Chicago Cubs. The Jays lead the AL East by 4.5 games over the Boston Red Sox.
