The Saskatoon Berries were able to extend their season for at least more game, as they defeated the Regina Red Sox 8-4 on Monday night to even up the East Division Final at 1-1.
After the teams traded runs in the first inning, the Red Sox grabbed a 2-1 in the second.
With three runs in the fifth, the Berries jumped ahead for good, before finishing their scoring with a run in the sixth and three more in the seventh.
Carter Beck, Nathan Houston and Cory Wouters each knocked in a pair of runs to lead the Saskatoon offence.
Klevert Martina got the win on the mound.
With the win, the East Division Final will be decided tonight in Saskatoon.
The winner will advance to the WCBL Finals to meet the Sylvan Lake Gulls, who eliminated the Okotoks Dawgs on Monday night, sweeping the best of three in two games.
