The Red Deer Rebels have announced their Quarter-Century Team, celebrating the top 20 players to wear Rebels colours from 2000 to 2025.
The roster was selected through nearly 400 online ballots cast by fans earlier this month.
Forwards: Arshdeep Bains, Ben King, Brandon Hagel, Brandon Sutter, Colby Armstrong, Colin Fraser, Jake DeBrusk, Justin Mapletoft, Kai Uchacz, Martin Erat, Martin Hanzal, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins.
Defence: Alexander Alexeyev, Alexander Petrovic, Dion Phaneuf, Haydn Fleury, Jim Vandermeer, Matt Dumba.
Goaltenders: Cam Ward, Darcy Kuemper.
Most players on the list have gone on to play in the NHL, including Nugent-Hopkins, drafted first overall by the Edmonton Oilers in 2011.
