Chalk Art Day is back in Humboldt on Friday, August 22, during StreetFest.

Two talented local artists are taking over the street between the Museum and Gallery from 4pm to 7pm on the Friday of StreetFest. Dylan Burton and Anthony Ross will be creating their own unique pieces of chalk art on the street.

We need everyone’s help to create a beautiful border around their pieces! Drop by between 4pm and 7pm and colour in part of the frame. All chalk is provided!

Dylan Burton will be a featured Chalk Art Day artist for the third year in a row! Dylan’s favourite thing about making chalk art is that they are able to share their creation with many people and hopefully make their days a little brighter. Dylan’s other hobbies include writing, crocheting, and acting. They are an artist at heart and love making things for others to see and enjoy.

Anthony Ross is joining Chalk Art Day for the first time this year! Anthony shows people why living creatively matters. He is a modern-day Renaissance artist with a passion for illustration, acting, storytelling, movement and more. He illuminates his work with expressions inspired by inner reflection, dreams, and the world’s natural beauty. Anthony grew up in B.C. and now lives in Humboldt with his beloved partner, Nicole.

Pick up free chalk from the Museum in August while supplies last!
