BASEBALL
Shaunavon's Mason Fauser got the win in relief as Team Saskatchewan qualified for the semifinals of the baseball tournament with an 8-7 extra innings win over Quebec.
Fauser came on in relief in the bottom of the 8th with his team trailing 7-6 and induced an inning-ending double play.
Saskatchewan then came from behind to win the game thanks to a walk-off base hit by Josh Gutek.
Former Swift Current resident Aiden Kilshaw was 1 for 4 and twice hit by pitches for Saskatchewan.
They will play in the semifinal on Friday.

RUGBY SEVENS
Kyle's AJ De Necker and Team Saskatchewan won a consolation match against Newfoundland 12-7 this morning.
They'll play Nova Scotia in the 5th-place game tonight.

SWIMMING
Gull Lake's Chayce Foster won the first heat of the Men's Special Olympic 50m backstroke, with Swift Current's Tate Zimmerman in second place.
Swift Current's Avery Underhill and Rahimay Priebe finished 6th and 7th in the first heat of the Women's Special Olympic 50m backstroke.
None of their times qualified for the final.
