Robyn Roy, communications coordinator with the Humane Society, says the event runs Saturday and Sunday at Global Pet Foods.
"We're gonna bring down all the kittens we have so many kittens."
"Sunday, if you're in the market for a puppy, I've got you covered. I've got litters and litters and litters of puppies."
Adoption events give families a chance to mingle with other animal lovers and speak directly with volunteers and staff. "They can get information they might not know or have questions answered," Roy says.
"If you're gonna bring home a puppy and do some of those potty training calls in the middle of the night, why not do it when it's hot and sunny outside instead of -30 later on?"
