Didsbury Annual RCA Rodeo
When: August 15 (6:00pm start) & August 16 (1:00pm start)
Where: Didsbury Agricultural Society Exhibition Grounds
What to expect: The Didsbury rodeo will be bringing you all the classic rodeo events for your enjoyment, including the mutt’n bustin’ for kids aged 4-7 to enjoy! Check out the following list of events for your entertainment.
- Bareback riding
- Saddle bronc riding
- Tie-down roping
- Breakaway Roping
- Team roping
- Steer wrestling
- Barrel racing
- Steer riding
- Bull riding
Iron Horse Food Bank Drive
When: August 17th 11:00am-4:00pm
Where: 820 Railway Gate SW, Airdrie Ab
What to expect: Bring a non-perishable item to support the Airdrie food bank and enjoy all the Iron Horse Park has to offer.
Carstairs Show and Shine
When: August 23rd 10:00am-4:00pm
Where: Carstairs Curling Rink
What to expect: Bring your finest car to the Carstairs Curling Rink and take a lap around to check out your favourites. There is also a market on site!
The Flying Puck Pizza Party & Palooza Fundraiser
When: August 24th 12:00pm-3:30pm
Where: The Flying Puck, 191 East Lake Crescent Airdrie, Ab
What to expect: This fundraiser is in support of Airdrie Meals on Wheels. Buy your tickets at Airdriewmealsonwheels.ca to get all you can eat access with pizza, salad, pasta, garlic toast, and more! Support a good cause and eat like you mean it!
