The schedule is heating up while the ice is cooling off at Crescent Point Place, as the Richardson Pioneer Weyburn Red Wings gear up for another action-packed hockey season.

Fall Camp kicks off the on-ice activity, running from August 29th to September 1st. The top 40 players will then participate in the Eric Calibaba Cup on September 1st at 3 p.m. Fans can take advantage of $5 admission and a game day 50/50 for the first game of the preseason.

The preseason continues with two home-and-home matchups. The Red Wings will play the Melville Millionaires at home on September 5th and away on the 6th. They'll then host the Estevan Bruins on the 9th before heading to Estevan on the 10th.

The up-and-coming players will then turn the puck over to Red Wings veterans for the Alumni Game on September 12th at 7 p.m. Admission is free for all fans.

The action on the ice will then move over to the green with the Alumni Par Three Golf Tournament on September 13th, teeing off at 8 a.m. The event is taking place at the Weyburn Golf Course, with registration open for singles and teams.

It all comes down to the season opener on September 19th, where the Red Wings are hosting a tailgate party from 4 p.m. leading up to the puck drop at 7 p.m. The event will host a live DJ, food trucks, and activities for the whole family. There will also be a banner ceremony, as the Red Wings topped the Viterra Division last season.

Season tickets are now available and can be purchased by contacting the Red Wings office at office@weyburnredwings.ca or 306-842-2212.

To be part of the action on game day, attend the volunteer meeting on August 26th at 7 p.m.
