The Marysburg Royals live to see another day in the 2025 Saskatoon Senior Baseball League (SSBL) Playoffs.
Marysburg avoided elimination with a 3-2 win over the Saskatoon Hoppers on Monday night.
Thomas Lessmeister got the win on the mound, he pitched 4 innings, allowing one run on nine hits and had four strikeouts.
Nick Anderson finished off the game, tossing 3 innings, allowing one run on two hits.
All the Royals' runs came in the first two innings.
Leading 1-0 in the second, Marysburg extended their advantage with Tom Hooker and Cole Bauml delivering RBI singles.
Hooker ended up with three hits and also scored a run.
The Royals will be in action tonight against the River Pirates.
In the other SSBL Playoff game on Monday night, the Saskatoon Outlaws beat the Saskatoon River Pirates 3-2.
