Portion of 9th Ave. NW to close next week

Another major road closure is coming to Moose Jaw next week. 

Starting Monday, August 25, 9th Avenue NW will be closed between Thatcher Drive and Spring Creek for work as part of the 2025 Paved Roadways and Sidewalks Project. 

For the project's duration, Thatcher Drive will be open to east, west and northbound traffic. Normandy Drive will be closed at 9th Avenue NW, and Simcoe Street will open to west and southbound traffic.

Transit stops will be closed at Normandy Drive and General Crescent, as well as Normandy Drive and Marshal Crescent. Passengers accessing Route 2 - Sunningdale are directed to use the stop at Normandy Drive and 11th Avenue NW.

The project is expected to last until September 5, weather permitting.
