Two southeast golfers are proudly representing the region and the province on the national stage this week.
Marcus Friess of Estevan and Dallas Lequyer of Carlyle are both competing at the Canadian Men’s Mid-Amateur Championships in Vancouver, which teed off today. The tournament brings together some of the best amateur golfers from across the country, giving Friess and Lequyer the opportunity to showcase their skills against top national competition.
As members of the local club, both players carry strong community support with them on the course. Friends, family, and golf fans from across Saskatchewan will be cheering them on as they look to make their mark at the championship.
