Month-long road closure extended in Foothills County

Foothills County Public Works is advising residents and visitors of an extended road closure.  

Construction work began on 210 Ave W between 240 St W and 256 St W at the beginning of July and has been extended due to weather conditions.  

The work is expected to be completed by Aug. 29.  

A detour will stay in place for the public, with local traffic still having access to properties on 210 Ave W.  

Properties south of 256 St can be accessed by travelling north on 240 St W, west on 186 Ave, and south on 256 St W.
