The Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation have their sites on October 4th, which is the night of the annual Dinner and Dance Annual Gala, this being their 33rd year of hosting this classic event.

This year all proceeds will be going toward the new Critical Care Centre, which is currently under construction. The Gala offers attendees a chance to enjoy a fun evening out featuring great food, live music, prizes, and an evening of dancing —all while supporting a meaningful cause.  Last year the event brought in over $30,000 towards the purchase of necessary medical equipment for the Brandon hospital.

Foundation Communications and Development Coordinator, Jessica Saler, says tickets for the Gala are already available and can be purchased either through the organization’s office or online via their website. The Gala has a strong reputation for being a popular and well-attended event, a sell-out every year, and organizers are encouraging the public to take part in this exciting evening that benefits the community in a significant way.

"For those who have never been to one of our Gala's they can go to our website and click on the link and actually see pictures from last year so they can get a feel for what it's like," shares Saler. "And we actually share an equipment list of where the funds went from last year as well. So, people can really see where the money is going. And then it also provides them with the opportunity to purchase their tickets right online."

"This year, something that's a little bit different that we're doing is we're also offering Honorary Support tickets," adds Saler. "So, if someone can't actually attend the Gala, but they still want to support the cause, they can purchase a $25 support ticket instead. So that's another option we're doing. That's actually new this year."

"And if people also want to learn more, we're always trying to keep it up to date on our social media sites," shares Saler.  "And they can also just give us a call if they want to talk about it as well. The Gala has been around for a long time and it's something that we really enjoy doing and putting on. So, people are more than welcome to call us and ask a little bit more about what the night looks like!"
