Team Saskatchewan has added four more medals to the count at this year's Canada Summer Games! Yesterday Nathan Pinno threw 16.48 metres to secure a silver medal in the men's shot put. In the evening, David Lipton scored 421 points to land a silver medal of his own in the men's para shot put.

Divers Lila Stewart and Isa Koop captured cold and silver in the Women's Artistic Dive event, after five dives Stewart was atop the standings with a score 221.70 points, Koop's final score was 198.15.

Men's softball and female baseball will pick back up today, having been delayed due to rain. Wrestling and mountain biking also begin today.

Local rookie of the year Lucas Lind and Neal Kohl have made the 15U Team Sask to compete at the 15UAAA Ray Carter Cup National Championship. Despite cancellations from the Air Canada strikes, they're off to PEI this morning thanks to families attending via WestJet giving up their seats to players and coaches.

The Moose Jaw Warriors have hired alumni Adam Evanoff as goaltending coach! Evanoff played with the Warriors from 2017 to 2020 before finishing his WHL career with the Victoria Royals.
