WYETH, Garland Allan
October 7, 1957 – August 12, 2025
It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Garland Allan Wyeth, age 67, on August 12, 2025 after a brief illness.
Garland will be remembered by his loving wife, Sandy; son, Michael (Natalie); and grandsons, Bentley and Roman. Also left to mourn his passing are his sister, Brenda (Roger) Kapusta; sisters-in-law, Karen Wyeth, Dorothy (Gregg) Hook; brother-in-law, Murray Treble; as well as many nieces and nephews who were very special to him. He was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Iona Wyeth; sister, Doris Gillies Sunde; and brother, Jerome Wyeth.
Garland was born and raised in Moose Jaw, SK. He and Sandy were married in 1982 and welcomed their son, Michael, into their lives in 1989. He very much enjoyed watching Michael in his sport and school activities and just being a dad.
Garland had a wide variety of interests and was well-read in many subjects. He particularly enjoyed planting trees, flowers and gardening. He had a great love for all animals, but mostly his many dogs.
Garland was employed at Valley View Centre in Moose Jaw for many years, working in various departments. He attended SIAST and obtained a Building Construction diploma; courses in computers and financial planning were also obtained. This led him to a career in Real Estate which began in 2004, and he retired in 2018. Wherever he worked, he brought his attention to detail and organizational skills with him. His latest, and most favourite job was spending lots of time with his family and grandsons, after he and Sandy recently relocated to Saskatoon.
Garland was a friendly, honest and well-liked man with a great sense of humour. He has been described as a fun and very enjoyable person to be around! He will be very missed by many family, friends and acquaintances.
To honour Garland’s wishes, no funeral service will take place. A private family gathering to celebrate his life will be held. In lieu of flowers, please consider planting a tree or donating to a charity of your choice in memory of Garland.
