Moose Jaw families are in for a nostalgic treat this weekend as the South Hill Community Association hosts a free outdoor movie night at Smith Park. The event is set for Saturday, August 23rd at 8:30 PM.

The featured film is none other than the beloved classic E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. Attendees are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs, blankets, snacks, and drinks; the association will provide free popcorn to enjoy during the movie.

“This is a free outdoor family movie, and everybody is invited,” said Lynn-Ann Pethick, a member of the South Hill Community Association. The group, made up of South Hill residents, is dedicated to enhancing the neighborhood through community events, cleanups, and collaboration with the city on local improvements.

Whether you're reliving childhood memories or introducing E.T. to a new generation, this event is a great way to connect with neighbors and enjoy a summer evening under the stars.

Avery LeBlanc of Country 100 spoke with Lynn-Ann Pethick. Listen below for more details.
