Southeast Saskatchewan is getting a double dose of music this month as singer-songwriter JJ Voss hits the stage for a series of community events. Known for his heartfelt performances, Voss will be performing at fundraisers in Burgers Beat, the Coal Creek Festival in Rasporcy, and the Barn Dance at Cave Creek Ranch just outside Estevan.

“It’s my way of trying to give back,” Voss said, reflecting on his long career in music. “Anytime I can contribute by performing for an event and trying to do some good and raise some funds, that’s my way of contributing.”

Voss is no stranger to the variety of performance settings across the region. From intimate backyard barn dances to full festival stages, he says each brings its own unique experience. “With the house concerts and more intimate settings, you can dig a little deeper and connect with the crowd,” he explained. “At a festival, you have a shorter set, so it’s a different way of approaching it, but it’s still great.”

Voss also shared his excitement about exploring new locations in Southeast Saskatchewan, including the Rasporcy Valley, which he plans to visit after his festival set.

Fans can catch Voss at the Coal Creek Festival and later at the Barn Dance at Cave Creek Ranch. For more information on his music and upcoming shows, visit jvoss.com or follow him on social media.
