Southeast Advocates is inviting the community to celebrate food, culture, and diversity at the first-ever Taste of the Nations event in Estevan. The event takes place Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Southeast College’s Estevan Campus.
Guests will have the chance to sample dishes from a variety of cultures, enjoy live entertainment and cultural displays, and meet people while sharing stories from around the world.
Organizers are looking for people from all cultural backgrounds to share a dish from their heritage. “It does not need to be fancy, just something meaningful from your culture,” said Cali-Marie Mack, the Settlement Workers in Schools (SWIS) coordinator for Estevan.
Presenters are provided with a table and setup and will be partially reimbursed for the cost of ingredients. To sign up as a food presenter, call 306-634-1440 or email estevan.swiss@seadvocates.org. The deadline to register is Sept. 12, 2025.
Tickets are $25, with children six and under admitted free. They can be purchased online here or in person at the Southeast Advocates office at 1108 Sixth St in Estevan.
More information is available on the Southeast Advocates Facebook page, or website.
Organizers say everyone is welcome to join. Bring friends, family, and an appetite.
