Local motocross racers made the trip to Lloydminster this past weekend for Rounds 8 and 9 of the Saskatchewan Motocross Association's Provincial Championship Series.
The Swift Current Motocross Association sent half a dozen racers to go head-to-head with competitors from across the province.
Swift Current's Eden Kroeker secured second place in the Open Beginner class on both days.
While Adairia Dickie took home fifth in the Ladies Junior division on Saturday during Round 8 and ended in sixth in the Ladies Junior division on Sunday, as well as competing in the Superminis class.
Other local results included;
- Rorie Dickie captured sixth in the Plus 40 class both days, in addition to finishing 11th in the Vet Junior class on Saturday and 10th on Sunday.
- Linden Notenbomer finished in sixth place in the Open Beginner class both days.
- Zayde Notenbomer claimed 11th in the 50cc (ages four to six) and 30th in the 50cc Open in Round 8, along with placing 10th in the 50cc in Round 9.
- Tristan Shipley took 20th place in the 85cc (ages 12 to 16) both Saturday and Sunday.
Swift Current motocross riders will next head to Virden for Round 10 on September 6 and 7.
