Jon Strem of the Briercrest area is our August 27th winner of Farmer Appreciation – Harvest Edition!
Jon shares:
"We operate a small family grain farm near Briercrest, Saskatchewan. We primarily grow durum wheat, barley, flax, lentils, peas, and canola. For us, farming is definitely a family affair. We homeschool our kids, and they can often be seen riding around in the combine, trucks, and tractors with us, learning what it takes to grow crops, work as a team, communicate effectively, and problem-solve on the go."
Jon has won $100 to Déjà Vu Café and a Canadian Tire gift card, and he also sent appreciation—another $100 to Déjà Vu Café and a Canadian Tire gift card—to Brian Whitfield in the Briercrest area.
Harvest is in full swing across southern Saskatchewan! We’re celebrating alongside you with Farmer Appreciation – Harvest Edition, presented by Silver Star Salvage & Recycling.
Share your operation and photos with us! We’re sending lunch, courtesy of Déjà Vu Café, to hardworking farm teams throughout southern Saskatchewan. Those teams get to pay it forward, surprising a fellow farm with lunch, too.
All entries also qualify for the GRAND PRIZE: $1,000 of FMC’s Express SG from Parrish & Heimbecker.
