The Estevan Public Youth Center (EPYC) is kicking off the season with a sold-out celebration at Eddie Webster’s, featuring live music from Connor Pichet and a lively trivia session hosted by Adam Shirley. While the main event is fully booked, Connor will be taking the stage outside on the deck, open to the public, so everyone can enjoy the music and support EPYC.
“We’re so fortunate to collaborate again with Donna, Ron, and Ivy at Eddie Webster’s,” said Bonnie Chepil-Kvamme from EPYC. “Connor has generously donated his time, and we’re opening the deck to welcome more of the community.”
This event also marks a bittersweet farewell for Osama Kamel, a summer EPYC team member heading back to university in Saskatoon. His favorite memory? The Squid Games event he co-planned with Adam, which brought together youth, families, and staff for a day of fun and connection.
Looking ahead to September, EPYC is rolling out new programs in partnership with Envision. Youth can join free pop-up workshops focused on mental health and emotional wellness, led by Casey and Alanna. There’s also a yoga night with Sydney Warner on Thursday, September 11, and a swim night at the Leisure Centre on Friday, September 12.
EPYC continues to support families through its back-to-school supply program, thanks to generous community donations and a partnership with the House of Stationary. Supplies are available during EPYC’s open hours: Thursday 5:30–8:30 PM, Friday and Saturday 5:30–10 PM.
