The nomination period opened on January 1 and will last until September 22 at noon. The current councillors include Kevin Hanson, Don Kochan, Crystal Kissel (current Reeve), Samanntha Wright, Greg Boehlke, Sunny Samra and Al Schule.

To get official information and updates from the Returning Officer directly during the 2025 municipal election, Rocky View County also asks candidates to fill out an optional Candidate / Official Agent Communications Consent Form.
