The Best of Alberta Photography Exhibition is coming to High River.
The travelling exhibit features award-winning images from the Alberta Region of Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC).
The images will be on display at the High River Public Library from Sept. 2 to Sept. 29.
Visitors can expect to see a range of themes and styles, from landscapes to portraits.
“Each captured with a level of craftsmanship and creativity that exemplifies the best in contemporary Canadian photography,” a PPOC media release said.
The work displayed has achieved "Merit" or "Excellence" ratings or won "Best in Class" at the Alberta Regional Salon.
“We are honoured to host this exhibit and bring such remarkable artwork to High River,” said Janice Storch, local PPOC member. “This is an opportunity for our community to experience high-caliber photography that reflects both the beauty of our province and the incredible talent within Alberta’s photography community.”
The exhibit is free to attend and open to the public, in celebration of Alberta’s visual artistry during September and Alberta Culture Days.
