LWDH restricts visitors following state of emergency announcement

With the recent increase of COVID-19 cases in the region, the announcement of the city-wide state of emergency and the discovery of the Omicron variant within the communities, Lake of the Woods District Hospital (LWDH) has once again reinstated their full visitor restrictions.  

LWDH announced that effective December 22, 2021, full visitor restrictions are in place. 

Visitors will not be allowed for any admitted patients with limited exclusions for end-of-life patients with extenuating circumstances.  

LWDH staff will do their best to support alternative options to in-person visitation.  

LWDH thanks the public for their support through this unprecedented time and reminds everyone to be kind to each other.
