A Swift Current man currently remanded in custody had multiple matters in court adjourned earlier this week.
25-year-old Blaine Charles Peters appeared in Swift Current Provincial Court on Friday morning on charges, including his most recent, which stem from a series of substantial thefts that took place between August 4 and August 8.
Crown prosecutor, Gregory Lee, shared that Peter's defence counsel is looking into possibly sending him to a treatment centre, and requested time to go over more information.
The accused faces several charges, including;
- Break-and-enter,
- Possession of property obtained by crime with a value under $5,000, and
- Two counts of failure to comply with a release order.
Peters will return to court in Swift Current on September 10.
