Estevan’s dance community is gearing up for an exciting weekend as the Estevan Recreational Dance Club (ERDC) opens its doors to the public for a special Open House. The event is set for Saturday, August 30, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the club’s new location on 13027 3rd Street.
Club director Brooke Wilson says the open house is a chance for the community to explore the newly renovated space and learn more about the programs the club offers. “We’re really excited to show off all of the hard work that has gone into making this space our own,” Wilson said. “It’s a great way to welcome everybody to our new location.”
The event comes on the heels of citywide registration, which Wilson described as “a blast,” giving the club an opportunity to meet new faces and reconnect with familiar ones. Even though registration through the citywide event is wrapping up, the club is still accepting new members for the upcoming season. Interested dancers and families can register online via the club’s Facebook page or by sending a direct message. Registration will remain open until the first few weeks of September.
As ERDC enters its 10th year of running dance classes in Estevan, Wilson expressed her gratitude to everyone who has been part of the club’s journey. “We can’t wait to see where the next chapter leads us,” she said.
Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or just looking to try something new, the open house is a great opportunity to see the club’s offerings, meet instructors, and get involved in Estevan’s growing dance community.
