The Swift Current Legion Branch 56 was able to welcome musician Robert Ross for a concert on Wednesday.
Ross is currently touring through local Legion Branches as he makes his way across Canada for the Canadian Country Music Awards Country Music Week in Kelowna, B.C.
Ross is himself a veteran and is using these shows as a way to give back to the Legion.
"(The Legion is) an organization that does so much good for the community and for all veterans," said Ross via Facebook.
John Griffin, public relations officer for the Legion Branch 56, said that it was a good show with close to 60 people in attendance.
"I encourage everyone to go and check out his music," said Griffin. "He did an awesome job. The Legion hopes to host more events such as this in the future."
