The bean bags are practically migrating with how many are being sent flying at Antelope Regional Park.
The sixth annual Antelope Lake Cornhole tournament is taking place, with over 90 games on the bracket.
Daryle Harvey, board member at Antelope Regional Park, says that ever since they added the cornhole to what was originally a golf and horseshoes tournament, it's grown exponentially.

"There's 30 or 40 teams for cornhole, and 10 for horseshoes," said Harvey. "We ordered 162 steaks for supper tonight."
Steak supper registrations totalled 157 before they closed registrations.
The event usually raises between $5,000 and $6,000. The money goes right back into the regional park, which recently added new camper sites three years ago. Currently, there is plans to add four more sites next to Antelope Hall.

The hall is also open with a silent auction, beer gardens, and is showing the Saskatchewan Roughriders game during the event.
"Everyone was always over here watching the Rider game anyways," said Harvey. "So we thought we might as well have a fundraiser."
Antelope Hall is originally from the former town of Antelope. It was moved to the Regional Park in 1983. It was built prior to 1929 in the town, which was located between Gull Lake and Webb where the Southwest Terminal facilities currently stand. The rail companies still have the terminal listed as Antelope on their maps.

Anyone who would like to enter their own team into the cornhole tournament next year is encouraged to do so. The event is advertised on the Antelope Regional Park Facebook page prior, with sign up information available there. The winners of the tournament are given shirts that say 'Antelope Lake Cornhole Champion (year)'.
