The Highway 39 Barrel Racing Series Championships were held over the weekend in Weyburn, where the 2025 high point champions and buckle winners were determined and announced:
Rylan Guest and Ghosts Whisper topped the Peewee category. Also competing were Braelyn Froh and Bailey, and Laityn Sawka and Buddy. Guests's buckle was sponsored by UFA Weyburn.
Brooklynn Hagen and Runner won the Youth 3D and Youth 2D buckles, sponsored by South Country Equipment and In Memory of Andon Hoff.
Also competing in the Youth 3D were Aria House and Moonshine; in the Youth 2D were Emma Winter and Sage, Aria House with Moonshine, and Memphys Runge with Ruby.
Gemma Duncan and BC Sugar Drift topped the Youth 1D, sponsored by Eggum Seed Sales. Also competing in the Youth 1D were Jola Hoff and Gemma; Kate-Lynn Hagen and Fender; Memphys Runge with Ruby; Aria House and Moonshine; Brooklynn Hagen with Runner; and Emma Winter and Sage.
Keighley Buss and Grace topped the Open 3D buckle, sponsored by Cartouche Oilfield Supply. Also competing were Jorja Ashworth and Keelys Fancy Flower; Chalize Hallberg and Kansas; Megan Grams and Stormy; Jodie Long and Foxy; Megan Grams and Lynx.
Jodie Long won the Open 2D buckle, sponsored by Sasktel. Also competing were Sydney Nowell and Starbuck; Chalize Hallberg and Kansas; Megan Grams and Stormy; Nina Lonsberry and Hauler; and Sydney Nowell and Litt.
Nina Lonsberry and Hauler won the Open 1D buckle, sponsored by Eggum Seed Sales. Also competing were Jola Hoff and Gemma; Brenda Noble and Tucker; Megan Grams and Lynx; Sydney Nowell and Litt; and Sydney Nowell and Starbuck.
