Joaquin started his journey on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at the young age of 17 years.
The Wake will take place on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. and the Pipe Ceremony will start on Friday, September 5, 2025 at 8:00 a.m with the traditional feast and giveaway to follow. Both services will be held at the Siyó Nidé Nakóda Oyade (Pheasant Rump Nakota First Nation) Community Center. The interment will take place at The Pheasant Rump Gladys Memorial Garden.
