As the 2025-26 academic year gets underway, Carlton Trail College is welcoming students back to its campuses with a renewed focus on innovation, accessibility, and student support.
The College has launched several new programs and initiatives this fall, including the arrival of international students for the first time—marking a significant step in its commitment to global education. Full-time, post-secondary students now also have access to a new health and dental plan, expanding vital services to support student well-being.
As part of its efforts to improve accessibility, the College will be seeking public input through an online survey launched September 3. The feedback will help shape the development of a new, enhanced accessibility plan.
Meanwhile, planning is underway for the expansion of the College’s trades training facility, aimed at supporting growth and innovation in skilled trades education across the region.
Students will be officially welcomed during the College’s annual Welcome Week, taking place the week of September 15.
More details are also in the works around the graduation of the first cohort from the BHP Potash Academy—a milestone for the innovative training partnership between the College and the potash industry.
