Site preparations underway for new school in Nanton

The Town of Nanton is advising residents of tree removal work, as part of the site preparations for a new school.  

The work is taking place on 24 Avenue, south of J.T. Foster School from Sept. 4 to Sept. 8.  

As part of the work, the sidewalk in the area will be closed, and traffic will be reduced to one lane.   

Work has been scheduled to avoid school pick-up and drop-off times.   

Residents are reminded to watch for signage and workers on site and use caution when in the area.
