Southwest village pinned for planned power outage

SaskPower has informed southwest residents about a planned power outage this weekend around Stewart Valley. 

The outage is projected to take place from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. this Sunday. 

Joel Cherry, spokesperson for SaskPower, shared that 89 customers within the village and in rural areas northwest of Stewart Valley will be affected. 

"This outage is for a system improvement, with work being done on a primary connection," said Cherry.
