Manitoba's COVID-19 test rate is well above 10 per cent as it jumps one per cent in one day.
There are 556 new COVID-19 cases as of Thursday morning, bringing the total number of cases to 72,834.
New cases include 440 people who are fully vaccinated, 84 people who are not vaccinated, and 32 people who are partially vaccinated.
Cases by health region include:
- 355 in Winnipeg
- 62 in Southern
- 51 in Prairie Mountain
- 47 in Northern
- 41 in Interlake-Eastern
Manitoba's five-day test rate has jumped to 10.9 per cent after 3,886 tests were completed Wednesday.
There are 2,933 active cases and 68,532 recoveries.
Hospitalizations and deaths
One more person has died, bringing the total number of COVID-19 deaths to 1,369.
There are 144 people in the hospital, with 95 of those patients having active COVID-29 cases. Out of the active cases, 47 people are fully vaccinated, 45 people are not vaccinated, and three people are partially vaccinated.
There are 28 people in intensive care, with 21 of those people having active cases. Out of the active cases, 15 people are not vaccinated, four people are fully vaccinated, and two people are partially vaccinated.
