Swift Current Fire Department respond to landfill fire

The Swift Current Fire Department was dispatched to the Swift Current City Landfill early this morning.

According to a news release, both the City detachment and the RM 137 Fire Department responded to the incident at 5:23 a.m., with the Swift Current Fire Department remaining on scene until 10:00 a.m. to address hot spots.

A total of 3 vehicles responded to the incident, with 11 personnel on scene.
