Humboldt and Warman face off

The Humboldt Broncos swept the weekend preseason home-and-home set with the Warman Wolverines.

On Saturday, the Broncos defeated the Wolverines 6-4. Jacob Strizzi led the way with a hat-trick.

Avery Lowe, Jacob Kulas, and Carson Croteau also scored.

Nick Kotai made 27 saves as he logged in the full 60 minutes in the crease.

Humboldt was 1/5 on the power play.

Warman outshot the Broncos 31-27.

 

The Broncos got the road win in Warman on Friday night 4-2.

Rylan Hue scored a pair of goals.

Kai Holowalchuk, and Rolan Amin also found the back of the net for the green and gold.

Reid Wasserman made 38 saves to earn the win.

The Broncos were 0/3 on the power play.

Warman outshot Humboldt 40-29.

The Broncos continue the preseason on Monday at home against the Kindersley Klippers.

Next time the Broncos and Wolverines meet, will be the opening weekend of the regular season, Friday, September 19 in Warman and Saturday, September 20 in Humboldt.
