Estevan minor football teams were busy this past weekend, hitting the field for both road games and home matchups.

The ECS Elecs opened their season in Moose Jaw, facing a tough challenge against the Central Cyclones and falling 60–8.

Back home, Estevan hosted a Highway 39 doubleheader against Weyburn. The U12 Ravens dominated the Chargers, shutting them out 47–0, while the U14 Falcons blanked the Oilers 46–0.

Before the U14 game, a new friendly tradition was introduced: a wager between head coaches, with the losing coach wearing the winning team’s jersey at their next game. That means Oilers coach Christian Pfeifer will be donning Falcon colours next week.

Saturday wrapped up with the U18 Estevan Viragos on the road in Melville, where the Vipers ran away with an 80–6 victory.

The U10 Cudas were also in Moose Jaw Sunday for a jamboree featuring the Weyburn Cardinals and the Moose Jaw Razorbacks
