A historic home in Lacombe has been officially recognized with a Municipal Historic Resource designation.
The Lacombe Heritage Resources Committee says the property at 5718 50th Avenue recently received the designation from the City of Lacombe.
A celebration will be held at the home Wednesday at 4 p.m., with light refreshments served.
