Over 30,000 kids and teddy bears filled Assiniboine Park on September 7 for the 36th Annual Teddy Bear Picnic. Several bears stayed longer than expected and are trying to be reunited with their owners.

Over 30,000 kids and 1,650 teddy bears learned about health sciences at the I Want To Be a Scientist tent and more than 1,900 teddy bear patients received care at the Dr. Goodbear Clinic.

Now, the Children's Hospital Foundation is trying to help reunite the animals with their kids.

Along with the animals, Dr. Goodbear and the team have been taking care of one set of car keys, a child's jacket, multiple kids travel mugs, sunglasses, knit beanie caps for teddy bears or babies, and other odds and ends.

If any of these items or stuffed animals belong to you or your child, please call the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba at 204-594-5323.

After giving an accurate description, the staff will ensure that it is there and make arrangements to be reunited.
