Scope reduced in emergency power outage affecting Midale area

The scope of the power outage affecting the Midale area this morning has been reduced. The emergency outage related to a nearby transmission line is expected to last from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. According to SaskPower, the initial plan was to impact over 2,000 customers, but has been refined to now only impact roughly 750.

The power in Midale should remain on; however, the rural areas between Midale and Macoun will still be affected. SaskPower extends appreciation for their customers' patience and highlights that it will aid in preventing unplanned outages in the future.
