Envision Counselling and Support Centre is launching a new program this fall designed to empower teen girls in the community.

The Teen Girls Empowerment Group will provide a safe and supportive space for girls between the ages of 13 and 17 to build confidence, resilience, and healthy connections. The program was made possible by a grant from the Access Communications Children's Fund.

“Sessions will explore a range of topics,” said Raven Daer, Communications Specialist with Envision. “So those could be including self-esteem and self-care, media influence and body image, mindfulness practices, boundaries and healthy relationships, as well as personal growth and self-identity.”

The group will run through October and November, meeting once a week on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m..

Pre-registration is now open.

“If you are interested, you can give us a call at 306-842-8821 or email us at intake@EnvisionCounselingCenter.com,” Daer said.
