Lake Lenore voters go to the polls on Wednesday, November 5

Due to the resignation of the mayor, the Village of Lake Lenore will be holding a by-election for the office on Wednesday, November 05, 2025.  

Nominations for candidates will be received at the Village Office October 1st, 2025, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. They can be submitted from September10 to September30 during regular business hours from 9:00 am to noon, and 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.  

Nomination forms may be obtained from the Village Office.  

Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements: 

• At least18 years of age on the date of the election 

• Not disqualified pursuant to any other act 

• Canadian citizen at the time he/she submits the nomination paper and public disclosures statement 

• Has resided in Saskatchewan for at least six consecutive months immediately preceding the date on which she/he submitted the nomination paper 

• Has resided in tat municipality, or on land now in that municipality, for at least three consecutive months immediately preceding the date which she/he submitted the nomination paper.
