NESVOLD
It is with great sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Randy Mel Nesvold, 64, of Regina on September 9, 2025.

Randy had a deep love for music. Along with his best friends Earl and Norm they founded the band, Crystal Image. The band played countless gigs across the province and recorded their hit “Steps of a Fool” in 1989. The song won a country wide contest awarding the band recording time in a Professional Studio. Those years remained some of Randy’s fondest memories, filled with music and stories he loved to share. Music continued to be a part of his life, whether he was enjoying a concert or simply relaxing on his deck listening to his favorite rock songs.
Randy was a true sports fan. He loved to play and watch golf and rarely missed watching a Rider game. He was passionate about Jr Hockey and travelled for many years with his beloved sons even coaching some of their hockey teams. He will be remembered most for his unwavering dedication and commitment to the Moose Jaw Warriors. Randy volunteered countless hours and spent many years as President of the Booster Club. When he moved to Regina, he continued his commitment, running 50/50 draws and raising countless dollars for the team. His contributions will leave an everlasting mark on the organization, fans and friends alike.
Randy also enjoyed travelling and was never shy about sharing his favorite spots. He and Rhonda travelled frequently to Puerto Vallarta, Las Vegas and Hawaii where Randy’s friendly and outgoing personality attracted people to him. Making countless new friends everywhere he went.
Randy’s greatest Joy was his granddaughter Brooklyn. She was the light of his life, and he cherished every moment they shared together.
