Weekend school volleyball results

Several local school volleyball teams had strong weekend performances.

The Shaunavon senior girls won their home tournament over Frontier 25-20 and 25-22.

Eastend bowed out in the semifinal of that tournament.

It was gold for the Gull Lale Lions at the Maple Creek senior girls volleyball tournament.

They came back from down 14-11 in the final game to beat Unity 16-14.

Consul beat the host Frontier squad in their senior boys volleyball tournament.

Frontier topped the Eastend Jr Boys in the final of a tournament in Consul.

Meanwhile, the Ecole Centennial girls team won the Loreburn "RAVE" volleyball tournament over the weekend.

The Swift Current Comp Ardens and Colts also medaled at recent tournaments.
