The Middle Aged Boy Band—the parody troupe that blends the harmonies of classic boy bands with razor-sharp improv comedy—is hitting the stage at the Mae Wilson Theatre on Oct. 4! A night of non-stop laughs and some of the biggest boy band hits ever recorded.
Denise Jones is co-creator, co-director and one of the performers for this show. She’s looking forward to bringing this performance to Moose Jaw.
“There will be all the songs that everyone knew and loved in the '90s,” Jones said. “We also make some up on the spot. We get suggestions from the audience and then we do our own versions with a Moose Jaw flavour.”
This show is set to provide hilarious entertainment, even if you’re not a huge fan of the genre of music.
“I don't think you even need to know what a boy band is to enjoy the show,” Jones said. “It's just so ridiculous. Comedy is the forefront of the show, and it just so happens that we're boy band members.”
